Taking Lunar Photo
February 6th, 2009
Last night i tried my luck taking shot of the moon with my DSLR from the back of my house. It was not as easy as i thought, i took a few hundred of shot before getting this one (yes HUNDRED and i am an AMATEUR! – don’t hate me for that). That is the closest i can get with my 75-300 lens and also gave me a hard time finding the right iso, shutter speed, aperture at the same time while constantly adjusting the camera and tripod position. YES a tripod! you will need those unless you have a very strong hand.
Well if you guys wanna try taking photos of the moon/lunar, you might wanna try the moon exposure calculator. I find this tool very useful, too bad that i found it out later. Tips and Technique.
